The Whaler dealer was unsure if he really wanted to hire anyone for the position and I think just low balled me on the pay. Would have been nice though, maybe in the future? I will also help lay up the boats in the molds and get into more involved procedures klike that. I have heard nothing but good things about the owner and am really aqnxious to learn another trade for my "can-do" list. I might just try and schmooze my 21 project into his shop for a total strip and repaint with awlgrip, instead of the waterline up job I was going to do at home.
