I found this in my search the web this morning for a new whaler. The Owner claims is:
TRANSFORMED BOSTON WHALER CUDDY BY CAPARROS ON NEW PLANS FROM Mr VATON TO A 36 FEET OPEN DAY BOAT.
ENGINES : 2x330HP VOLVO PENTA 7.4 GSI. DUO PROP PROPELLERS. ENGINES REVISED.
This is one of the craziest things I have seen. The shot of the cuddy looks like it started out as a 27' Center Console Cuddy.
Dang, that is a nice boat! Wonder if they tried to do the composite/foam construction on the additional 9 feet. Obviously, this was no back yard project. Almost wonder, why not build something like that from scratch? Couldn't have cost that much more to do that!
speaking of insane designs - have you seen a Yellowfin? there is one buzzing around charleston. i actually saw on an a trailer and it made the road look very small. they run triple 300's on some of them!!
36' and no shelter, well i guess you could climb in th coffin box if you needed to.
BTW they make a 42' Express as well as.
