1989 Outrage 20' Fuel pickup- Standard tank 77 gallons
Does anyone know how close to the bottom of the tank the pickup is? I am dealing with a water issue I believe to be a bad gasket at the pickup side of the tank. im beginning to pump my FULL tank and Im just curious if that will get most of the water out before I take the access cover off.
Thanks

Well, was able to get cover off tank where the pickup tubes are located Gasket was original and a mess from the ethanol. I totally blew it a few years ago when I had the floor up and did the fuel hoses. But anyway, it turned out to be the gasket. Interesting thing was after removing tank hatch with the pickup tubes, i looked into the tank and saw the two screened filters which attach at the end of the pickups on the bottom of the tank perfect and looked like they had never been installed. Hmmmmm
