Hi everyone!

First, sorry in advance for my bad english :D

I'm a new member at this forum, i'm from Croatia (ex Yugoslavia) and i bought an 1992. Boston whaler 15 super sport. I alredy own 13 1985. but i needed bigger/better boat so i bought larger brother of my 13. The problem is that in my country, we need to have a lot of papers/documents to register the boat. I have everything i need except certificate or homologation from the factory. Not sure how or were to get something like that, i have that document for 17' outrage, i'll put it here as example to show u what exactly i need. It is in Italian, but i'll translate it, it can be in english as well. Can u help me get that, or maybe someone has that document and he can send it to my e-mail or post it here?

Tnx in advance

Here is the screenshot of example of the document i'm looking for!

Homogolation translater to "approval" so I'm not sure if this is the same as a "builders certificate of origin". I don't know where your boat was built are European Whalers built in Europe somewhere or built here? In any case you will probably have to contact the factory where the boat was built and maybe they can help you. Include the stencil number which should be inside the boat on the transom.

I winter in Ft. Myers and summer in St. Joseph, Michigan. It’s now about 12 years since I’ve joined this group. I gave my 1972 whaler to my daughter and sold the 17’. Bought an O’Day 28 sailboat and sailed on Lake Michigan. Yesterday I bought a 2005 130 Sport.

I believe that the paper i need is that certificate u talking about. Not sure, but i think that whalers were build only in USA, and then exported around the world. I'll try to contact BW factory, i have 2 numbers, one on the gelcoat under engine (5B5165) and one on the plate (BWC...) don't know it, have to check it.

Tnx!

The stencil number is the one on the gel coat under the engine.
