I need to buy a trailer for my Outrage 20.
I spoke to a few dealers that insist I don't need keel rollers and they said keel rollers don't work on the new trailers.
Can anyone recommend a trailer dealer on Long Island that will sell me a trailer for my Outrage 20 that has keel rollers?

I would get a trailer with keel rollers regardless of what a dealer says. Or fix you old one. Your old one is gavanized so you should be able to renew it. Bunks, supports, brackets, hubs, and tires will be much less than a new trailer. I am doing that a 1990 trailer now. Will be almost like new when I am finished...
good luck

I talked to Neil at East Coast Trailer since he is very close to me.
He will set me up with a Load Rite trailer with keel rollers and bunks for $1595.

Hi Arthur,
That's great. Neil is a great guy. He knows his stuff and his prices and service couldn't be better. Tell him Dan with the 1990 Caulkins trailer says, "hi." $1,595 for a 20 foot Outrage sounds great to me. Good luck!

Thanks Dan,
I was getting annoyed with all the other places telling me that I didn't need a keel roller trailer.
But Neil knew right off the bat what I was talking about and he agreed that keel rollers and bunks are the best for a classic Outrage hull.
Neil even said he'd help me sell the old trailer.

Wow, I don't think any other trailer places would help you sell your old trailer. Put it on craigslist.

Arthur,
Would your old trailer work with a Conquest 23? I would need to move it about 10 miles twice a year, and store the boat on it over the Winter. I'm also on Long Island

It's probably big enough for your boat WhalerYo, but I don't think it is the recommended trailer for your boat.
