My boat has original tanks with the extra capacity of 310 gallons. When I fill up the center tank I smell gas fumes in the bildge until a burn some off. Since the tanks are 20 years old, should I replace them(3 total)? I am planning a repower so my thinking is that I should go ahead and do the tanks as well. Any thoughts?
Is there a site that I can download the specs on those tanks or should I just remove them and take them to the tank people so they can use them to model the new ones after?
