Outrage Stencil Number - A50991, HIN Serial Number BWC6897A0683, Washington State Registration Number WN848LD.Currently lic. for the State of Washington June 2015.The Outrage sits on a 1990 EZ - loader trailer Lic. 3323WZ State of Washington July 2015. Trailer VIN Number is 1Z1EGHW11LAW27770. Both of these vehicles have been recently reconditioned.

The Outboard's are a 1990 Evinrude - 120 V-4 - Serial Number G02507899, Model Number E120TXESB, and a 1995 Yamaha Four Stroke 9.9. Kicker. Both engines have been recently reconditioned.

I have had power tools stolen in the past. The police report only goes so far. Fortunately you have all the vin and ID numbers. I called all the local tool repair shops and gave them the identifying information. I would contact the motor manufacturer as well as shops far and wide with the information. You may get lucky with some one ordering parts for the stolen items. I feel for your loss and good luck in the recovery.

Once a report is filed, transfer for titles through DMV could return your boat

Start trolling the sales sites for your length and model Whaler. Also look for outboards of your vintage and hp. Search far and wide. It's easy to change a VIN and register as a salvaged hull. Post a reward. Also, if you have serial numbers, look for your electronics, trailer and other equipment. It's easier to sell the parts than a whole stolen boat. When you find the guy, keep him in the basement till you get the whole boat back.

I winter in Ft. Myers and summer in St. Joseph, Michigan. It’s now about 12 years since I’ve joined this group. I gave my 1972 whaler to my daughter and sold the 17’. Bought an O’Day 28 sailboat and sailed on Lake Michigan. Yesterday I bought a 2005 130 Sport.

Hello:

I have some brand new white seat cushions for a 1983 Outrage. The cushions are for a 94 quart igloo cooler and the rod holders. They were purchased as apart of restoration of my 1983 Outrage. My Outrage was stolen on July 16, 2014. So I have no need for them. I plan to sell the cushion and cooler as a complete set. The set also fits other year models of the Outrage. My asking price for the works is $135.00. Shipping is not included in the sales price. If you are interested I could send you a picture. My email is lkftmp@nventure.com. Larry Frazier - Tacoma WA

Larry,
I replied earlier with my sadness about your stolen boat. Any word or just an empty spot? I feel for the loss. That aside, I am sending you an email about the cooler and cushions. I have a 94 qt cooler but have been disappointed with the cushion set up. My best.

Make absolutely sure the police enter all the Serial numbers as stolen in NCIC. Every time the Coast Guard or any Law Enforcement unit comes in contact with that boat being operated the serial number should be run in NCIC.

Ejo, no secrets in my (our) household. One of these days maybe.....when I can figure how to post pictures. I think I some how do not want to. Like Chaplin in "Modern Times".
