I am setting up a Yamaha 705 flush mount control for a 2003 Honda BF50A but don't have the engine at my disposal right now. I remember that the Honda throttle pulls (fwd) to increase. I cannot remember which direction the shifter on the motor moves for fwd gear. I don't want to assume and take the control apart to reconfigure it a second time once I have the motor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Sorry for the delay. Both Throttle and Gear cables pull forward at the engine linkage connections with the control cables. Have at it and good luck with your installation!
