Just received new 12 gallon Moeller fuel tank for my 16 ft, custom 1971. I have an 1985 mercury outboard 50 hp. Wondering what you guys prefer on the tank side fittings. Since I am going to replace fuel line and bulb I'm assuming I can use the newer style fittings on the tank side.

I prefer the brass or chrome quick disconnect for the tank and hose. They look a little like air hose fittings.
