I would like tanks for my Nauset as well, and the options have proven to be few. I've considered all of the Moeller offerings and none of them will work, simply because Moeller dropped the ball with respect to the centerline cable tunnel on the 16'7". They produced a 22 gal. tank specifically for the Whaler with a recessed, angled fuel fill so it could be fueled in place. Great for the guys with fuel storage under the RPS. Not for the guys that store under the console. Shockingly, the genius that designed the tank for Moeller failed to include a fore and aft, radiased channel up the centerline of the tank so that it would actually slide in and around the steering and control cables, as well as the wiring harnesses. As far as the other tanks go, they are too deep to tuck in behind the factory installed cross bar designed to retain the tanks in place. Not to mention, every one of the other offerings must be pulled out to be fueled up.

I'm considering a custom made aluminum tank, similar to the Moeller tank I mention, only with the channel added. There are several good aluminum fabrication shops here in S Florida that produce tanks to CFR USCG specs. The price will be interesting..
chris my old fuel tanks are 19longx13.75tallx14wide 12gal. moeller tank is 20longx14widex11.75tall with filler 14.25 tall with fill in center front of tank. I have about 25'longx14wide on each side of control gas ext. hole in center. shelf above fuel tanks is cut back so it may fit have to look at this real close
