1993 Yamaha 150 Tach Quit Working

Member Posts: 61 Comments: 0 Joined: 10/02/07	Hi Everyone, I have a 1993 Yamaha 150 on my Lo-Pro and my tachometer quit working. I still have a zero displayed but it doesn't come up. I swapped the digital gauge with a known unit and I get the same thing. Looked around under the console and don't find any loose connection or anything tripped. My question is, is there a sensor on the flywheel or somewhere that sends a signal up to the gauge? Is there something I am overlooking? My engine is a 1993 150TLRR.
