I recently bought a 1995 Rage 15 with 115hp 4 cylider Johnson Evinrude with the "turbo jet". I got a sreamin deal on it as the owner was having financial issues. This Whaler sat in the salt water tied to the back of a sportfisher for over two years. I'm hoping that I didn't make a big mistake because after scraping the two years of growth and pressure washing the jet, it revealed a lot of corrosion damage to the jet componants...My question is: Does anyone have the contact information for a reputable jet mechanic located in SO Cal? Or: If I choose to rebuilt this jet myself, where could I get an "exploded view" of this turbo jet with part numbers? I would really appreciate some help and any advice would be great. Thanks.
