2002 mercury 50hp bigfoot question?

Member Posts: 16 Comments: 0 Joined: 09/25/13	just got a 2002 mercury 50hp bigfoot 4 stroke outboard but it has a whole in the block. does anyone think it worth fixing? the damage occurred while out at sea but he was able to bring the boat back in with engine running he didn't know until he took of the cover. is it worth fixing and if so does anyone know where I could get a block from? other than that the rest of the engine looks great on the outside but not sure about the inside. open to any and all suggestions.
