Member Posts: 401 Comments: 3 Joined: 03/10/12	I'm putting my 1999 70 hp Yamaha back together. What should I use to prep the stainless steel bolts before putting them back into this aluminum housing? I've seen copper coat anti seize. Is that what I should use?

Member Personal Page Posts: 4280 Comments: 7 Joined: 09/30/05	Do NOT use copper based anti-sieze with stainless steel hardware in an aluminum outboard motor. Use marine grease or a gasket compound like Permatex Aviation Form-a-Gasket.
