Does anyone have the slides handy that are used on the Mills Fly Top? If you do, can I get a measurement on the length? I am getting ready to install the Sun Top this weekend, and at some point would like to order and install the Fly Top. I am hoping to reposition the sun top so I can either have both slides installed or convert to one long one.

Thanks

kamie,

The Fly Top slider is 12 inches long counting the ends....

I would think that the Sun Top slider would work for both tops as the Sun Top slider is longer than the Fly Top slider I think...

Here is a photo of my Fly Top slider.

To use one slider I believe the suntop slider either needs to be 17 inches long which I don't believe it is or I create one that is. The Suntop starts 8 3/4 inches from the teak, while the Flytop starts 13 3/8 inches from the same spot.

My plan is to mark the locations for both the Sun Top slider and the Fly Top slider as I decide where to ultimatly position my Sun Top. I do want to move the Sun top back slightly as I think it shades too much of the forward cooler seat and not enough of the rear stern seat.

What length is your Sun Top slider?

Is it the same length as the Fly Top slider?

Not sure, it's 100 miles away and I won't get there until late tonight.
