He carries it on a trailer exactly the same as this one, with an 8000# capacity and 6 lug 15" wheels. It will require some careful adjusting the get the weight of the boat on the keel, and stabilized by the bunks.

But, the keel is not resting on the crossbeams at any point. I will post some pictures of my trailer this evening for reference.
