Our fuel tank needs to be replaced. The current one is located under the console. We are not near the boat and can't measure it right now. Any idea how big the new tank can be to fit under the console? Thanks for the help.

My '63 Nauset now has (2) Tempo 12 gal. tanks under the console, side by side. They fit in there snugly, and I use the original wood rod to keep them... I knda like the 2 tank setup, as you always know that if you run through one of 'em...you've enough gas to make it back!

I wasn't sure if the Tempo 12 gallons would fit in the Nauset, but the Montauks used two 12 gallon tanks under the RPS. I had the metal version of those tanks on my Montauk for 15 years and I liked 2 tanks instead of one.
