I have a few buddies that are interested in loading up the boat with me for a LONG weekend and heading out of Seattle with a full tank of gas, and attempting to end up in Vancouver sometime the following afternoon. I suspect I can make it up there with 2 full tanks of gas (at least I HOPE so). Has anyone here done anything like that to give me some pointers?
How many gallons is a full tank of gas? How many mpg do you get a cruise? What's your cruising speed. Looks to be about 170 miles. At 3 mpg about 60 gallons of fuel. Wouldn't worry too much about doing on on tank as there should be lots of places to fuel up.
Four days being a long weekend, 40 miles a day is leisurely. Should be a fun trip.
If I was doing it, I'd plan marina stops with some on the water hotel and dining.
