waterproof wood glue for swim platform project

Member Personal Page Posts: 328 Comments: 2 Joined: 05/24/07	Going to build a 48" swim platform in the standard slatted style, but out of ipe wood instead of teak. I plan to scrub the wood where it will be glued, because ipe is oily, like teak. Any recommendations as to what glue to use? I know there have been amazing advances in glue technology. I'd also like to do without threaded rods, saving the trouble, the expense, and the weight. Your advice is requested!
