Hi all i have been lurking around the forum for quite some time and finally decided to join the Boston Whaler owners club !
picked up this 1975 11' whaler today for $650.00 ..came with the trailer ,a few of the old mahogany pieces..a 35lb troll motor and in need of makeover...hull seems to be in ok shape for a 40 year old boat that has been sitting in the sun...lots of spider cracks..a few stress crack but all in all its looking pretty solid and im looking foward to the makeover process.....any tips comments or suggestions will be appreciated...
Will start doing some sanding today...not sure yet on interlux or gelcoat yet but im leaning towards the interlux....
