I have an 83 Montauk 17. Its a new boat to me and it came with a roller trailer, with 14" wheels, Disc brakes, real monster...would have been awesome under my Outrage 18...for the Montauk..its too big.
I don't tow more than 10-15 miles per trip....30-50 miles would be a once in a while. I would like to get a small 12" wheel trailer (it would fit on side of my house better also). I was looking at a Karavan KBE-1250 Trailer. What does everyone else have in small type trailers?
I went with a COX trailer (15' sport), I only trailer 2x a year "in and "out" for the season. I went with the cox trailer because, I could get the smallest strongest trailer for that boat (Cox has 4 cross members, instead of the usual 3 cross-members).
