I am awaiting payment sunday for my 1996 outrage II, sold due to having a second child and would not be able to afford the cost of using the boat, and maintain it.
My brother has a 2001 13ft Whaler sport. 40hp Merc. 6mpg.
Only thing to maintain on it mechanically, is lower unit oil, impeller, and.... nothing.
Very cheap for me to run.
Thanks to my younger brother, Ill still be in the whaler game.

Nothing like a Whaler
I have to pick it up, he's in the USCG and not going to be using it. Im stationed at the US Naval Submarine base in kingsbay GA, I should be picking it up in about 3 weeks. Will be doing a clean, polish, and wax. Then I will post some pics. Later on he wants to put a center console on it. Something small and custom, and some higher rails to assist in the standing up on such low freeboard. Thats way in the future, and I think not necessary, but Im sure it will look awesome.
