I have a 1999 Alert 17 with a 2005 Mercury 2 stroke and a 9.9 Mercury kicker. It has a single battery and I usually have 33 gallons of gas onboard. I also have a side console and a custom bench seat/leaning post. Most of the time passangers and equipment are about 500 pounds total. I know have a 13.25x19 aluminum propeller and would like to change to ss. I have a brand new stilette advandage 13.25x15. Would I be able to use this stiletto prop mounted 2 holes up? I fish only in central lake erie so I am not really looking for top speed, but quick plane and mid range power. If the stiletto 13.25x15 will not work, what would you recommend? THANK YOU in advance.

Al

What are your Wide Open Throttle RPM's with the prop you have now?

Whether you propeller will work or not depends a great deal on exactly what 2005 Mercury two stroke you have.

In that case the 13-1/4" x 15" Stiletto Advantage will not be enough pitch. You would do well with a 13-1/4" x 17" Advantage though.

You could also get by with a 13-1/4" x 19" Mercury Laser II
