My 55 year old wife and her 65 year old female cousin did a 99 mile ocen crossing from Bimini Bahamas to Jupiter Fl. in her 17' Montauk with a Honda 90. Now the ocean was pond flat and they were following our big boat but still Damm Impresive just for bragging rights. You have to love those Whalers

That is impressive Bob...

How long did it take both of you to do the 99 mile trip?

If you were cruising at 25 or 30 it should take about 3 to 4 hours depending on wind and current.

Just curious...

I have heard of guys doing it in 13-17 foot whalers before and even heard the host of "Ship shape" tv did it on a jet ski one time lol I can't wait to do the trip from naples to Key west in my 21 and maybe one day doing the bimini crossing in it. Has to be a fun ride when the weather is right for it
