In an early 1970's Boston Whaler catalog there is a carved wood whale with a Boston Whaler logo on it. It caught my eye and I have been casually looking for one since, but have never come across one. Has anyone ever seen one of these in person, or perhaps own one?

I saw exactly what you describe a while back on ebay, probably over a year ago. I had no idea what vintage it was and I did not bid on it. I don't remember how much it sold for, I think less than $100.

I watched that one, too. I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a piece of plastic.
