I'm helping a friend get information vis-a-vis value and market for a solid brass, 4 blade, 2"shaft hole, 26" diameter propeller. It's marked 26rh22, The only other markings that could be found are "Grand Rapids Michigan". The friend who owns it has had it returned to him after having lost track of it many years ago. He first came to own it when he had a trucking company salavage business in the early 1970s'. It was new and in the crate when he got it; it's never been used. Thanks in advance for allowing this non-Whaler question to be posted but knowing just how deep nauticle knowledge runs amongst the Whaler Central crowd I just had to ask. Any pertinent information is appreciated. Thank.

It is almost certainly bronze, not brass.

26 is the diameter in inches.

"rh" means it is a Right Hand (standard) rotation.

22 is the pitch in inches.

That is a big prop for a big boat and worth quite a bit, even at scrap value.

Grand Rapids, Michigan is home of Michigan Wheel, a very old and venerable propeller manufacturer.
