Found this beauty listed yesterday. It had only been posted the evening before. I called the guy, it sounded like what I was looking for even though the price was on the very top end. I talked with him and told him I would make the three hour drive down Saturday morning. Told him if I liked it we could go by the closest Chase bank, and I would pay him with a certified check on the spot. As I made plans to go first thing in the morning I wondered if there was any chance that I could talk him off his price any at all. He did say that he had several other callers two of which needed to sell there 22 first. Then last night I looked at the post and to my shock and dismay the boat had sold!
Oh well, you know what they say, "If you snooze, you loose."

I guess this is why I bought a whaler again recently...resale is ridiculous. I posted my 17 1991 outrage this past fall on a Thursday evening. By Saturday morning, I had it sold, with a line waiting to look at it. It was priced to sell, but was gone in no time.
