How much will it cost to put a new tank? Or can I have it cleaned? What do I do??? HELP Thanks Bob Zollo

Bobby are you running any type of inline or canister fuel water separator or fuel filter? Are you buying the fuel on land or on the water?

Yes most good marine repair shops can flush your tank. A new tank costs about $500 for the tank itself and can be bought from Florida Marine Tanks.

How are your fuel lines? Did you use some sort of bad teflon paste on your water sep connections? When you emptied your tank, did you have it cleaned too? Do you use any gas additives? Where do you get your gas? Same place each time? Does the metal gas vent on port side near gas cap look good? I don't know if the gas tank in your boat is aluminum or fiberglass. If it's fiberglass it could be ruined from Ethanol.

Get a new 6.5 gallon Tempo gas tank with a new fuel hose so you can bypass the problematic fuel tank on the boat. Then run the boat and see what happens.
