Hey all,
I have a 17' with a 1995 Evinrude Ocean Pro 90HP on it. My Power tilt cylinder is leaking, and i plan on taking it off and replacing the seals at work. I understand how the unit comes out, but im not sure where the wires for the electric motor on it terminate. I am assuming they go to the relay, but was hoping to find a diagram to confirm (or rather make sure there isn't a connector somewhere else that should be taken apart). Can anyone confirm this for me, or send me a diagram? I like to do all my homework before doing a job so it takes as little time as possible.
Go to http://parts.evinrude.com and select your year in the left column, then the hp, specific model, and then scroll down to power trim tilt hydraulic assy to see the motor. It looks like a pretty long lead so it wouldn't surprise me if it went all the way to the relay box.

I replaced mine this year. 1990 Yamaha 90 HP and the leads run all the way to the terminal block at the rear of the motor. You have to chase them under the oil fill tank. Very straightforward.
