I am interested in the pros and cons to replacing my 1992 30 HP Johnson on my 1992 13' Whaler sport, with a 1998 Yamaha 4 stroke 25 HP. I ran across this motor at a mercury dealer and it appears to be in excellent condition. Did Mercury make these motors or is it a true from the ground up Yamaha. Thanks for any guidance or comments.
