Correct pitch for Yamaha 8hp kicker

There are a few knicks in the prop and I'm thinking about replacing it - there are three different pitches available 7", 8", and 9" - since I'm looking for power not speed I think the 9" pitch would be the one we want. Will apreciate any suggestions, M 2005 Dauntless 220
