I repowered my 2004 Outrage 190 with a new 150 HP Mercury Verado. I run the boat in the Northeast.

I typically have two adults and two kids in the boat and looking for a recommendation on the best prop for overall performance. I would like to stay away from stainless steel.

The best prop for overall performance like you want happen to be Stainless Steel.

What size prop are you running now?
What is your WOT RPM?
What holes is the engine mounted on the transom?

See this article on mounting height.

Also see this article on props even though it is just getting started.

Lots of things to consider and verify before suggesting or just buying a prop.

Let us know.

I am running a 15 pitch 4 blade prop now.
Boat wants to run at 6400 rpm.
And engine is mounted on the top, I believe.
