My dad's first boat was 14 foot Lund and it came with a 25hp Spirit, which I believe was just a re-badged Suzuki. My uncle bought my dad's boat and it still has the old Spirit on it today. I still see boats from time to time with a Spirit outboard on back purring along. I'm not sure if that's any indication of newer Suzuki's or not, more or less an obsevation.
I have '74 Katama(custom now, missing original console) and I powered it with a '96 Evinrude 90hp, I was hoping to look at Suzuki's also but there weren't any for sale in my area at the time.
