Just put a 300hp Suzuki on a 25ft Outrage with WD. The outboard is so big, that the lower unit does not trim all the way out of the water. The Prop/Intake are still submerged. The problem is I am looking to get a slip for the boat in at a saltwater marina over the summer, and really do not want to any unwanted engine corrosion. Any suggestions.
Paint the part of the lower unit that sits in the water with anti foulant paint made for alumminum if there is no fix to get to clear all the way out of the water.
