My daughter is getting a little older now so I plan on doing more tubing, skiing, wakeboarding etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for a ladder that is easy to install, possibly detachable? Also, does the wood in the stern of the 150 sport extend far enough toward the outside of the boat to drill into to hold a ladder and weight securely?

Good morning Ianpatrick,

We make a platform specifically for your 150 SPORT. My platform/ladder comes with a three step Windline Ladder. It also features two grab bars and a KING STARBOARD AS platform. My platform can easily support 300+ lbs. Send me an email to info@martinmarinedesign.com for pictures. I can also refer you to a couple of customers who have the platform installed on their 150 SPORT.

Best regards,
Raymond Martin

You can check out some photos of the platform installed and in use here:

The owner is very pleased with the ladder and how far it sits out of the water, even with her 240 lb Bullmastiff, 140 lb teenager, and tons of gear on board.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
