Brand new to the Whaler family and trying to get information on what we just bought. Does Boston Whaler have an archive?

Seller claims it was barn stored since the beginning, and looks like it. Just stumbled across it and looked really cool, so we bought it. Motor seems to run great, even with a external mounted trim pump. Time warp!

Is there any recommendations on where to find a red rub rail replacement, not sure it will come back like the gel coat did.

Back 2+ years ago we did group buys for the limited production run of the OEM red rub rail insert and receiver tracks. When we did those limited runs I bought 72' of both the track and rub rail which would give me enough to redo my Newport twice, or a single 19, 21 or 22 hull if I got one. I am trying to clear all kinds of stuff out of my garage and have these coils just taking up space. I am considering selling half of what I have (36' of the red rub rail and receiver track) which would do a 17' Newport hull or possibly an other 17' Whaler if you chose. The coils I have are a continuous 72' feet so, I would be just cutting them in half to sell.

I am only willing to sell both the insert and track as a complete package.

I am looking for $550obo for these items. You can not source these items anymore without doing large runs from the manufacture (500' minimums) and last I knew, all of the retailers that bought runs during the group buys no longer have stock. If you are interested email let me know. The best way to contact me is through Email. JROHLFING@GMAIL.COM

Thanks,
Jeff

Sure would like to see some pictures of your Whaler and especially of the 115 Merc. Is the Merc a 1975 also with the blue stripe. Love those motors.
