When cruising at your normal speed... The steering wheel should have the same feel when turning in either direction.... Meaning, it should not be harder to turn in one direction and easy to turn in the other direction... It should be equal... Adjust the trim tab to achieve this.... NOTE: If you have Hydraulic or No-Feeback steering, you may not be able to feel this...
