So last week I picked up an Ocean Pro 90 from this elderly guy in new jersey for $250 (can you believe that). I currently have the original 1985 Evinrude on my Montauk. Is there anything I have to worry about switching motors? I actually had the motor checked at a local marina and it checked out ok...just suggested I change the impeller.......
To be honest I have had this craiglist search app for my phone. It keeps an eye out for certain items within a certain price range. Eventually someone who doesnt know anything about what they have under prices things. This motor is probably one of my better scores but I could list miles of incredible finds, most of which have turned incredible profits. I joke with my wife all the time I could quit being a paramedic and make 3x my pay just buying and selling stuff on craigslist. Who knows maybe its a Jersey thing....
