replacing RPS back rest

Member Posts: 1 Comments: 0 Joined: 05/14/12	I recently bought a new teak backrest from specialty marine for my 1975 Montauk. I am wondering how to remove the existing one. There are two stainless steel rods that enter an oval piece of teak and Im not sure how to remove this piece.
