I was cleaning the Montauk yesterday and wanted to remove the fishing seat. I thought it would be easy as there is a large bolt attached to a clamp like mechanism, however the bolt will not move. I noticed there is a hole though the bolt was there some sort of lever there that is now missing? How do I remove the seat from the clamp?
That bolt should loosen the clamp on the seat post. Here is what it looked like with the lever intact. Penetrating oil and a bigger wrench should do it.
