Bear with me as I know this is talked about frequently.
I typically use 3m 5200 below the waterline. Per this forum I am shying away from this product on my boat.
I replaced and moved my old transducer, I want to fill the holes (4) which will constantly submerged and ensure they are leak free.
I used Boat Life sealant, squirted as much as I could in the hole, covered the screw that I took out with it and re installed the screw all the way to the hull.
Boat Life oozed out around the screw head and I left it to cure.
Will this give me what I want for long term waterproofing?
