I have a 1994 Dauntless 15 with a 50 hp Johnson. I'd like to add a small kicker motor as a back up/trolling motor. Any suggestions on what size to use?
Don' know if the 94 Dauntless is the same hull as my 79 15' but I use a 5 hp Honda 4 stroke that I got a couple of years ago for $350. Not too heavy, my 89 Evinrude 50 gets right up on plane & the little Honda is perfect for salmon trolling or emergency power to get home.
