Member Posts: 9 Comments: 2 Joined: 10/30/08	this is the problem had a 15 in leg now going with a 20in leg evinrude 30. i get it have to put a jack plate on but my teleaflexe steering needs to be set back also,but how? is there adators for this? the engine is 1997 evinrude, do i use the tube through the engine little confused i did not buy the engine yet..

Look at the Kent Fab adapter... Not cheap, but also stops water from coming over the low transom as it fills in the entire cutout.

There are quite a few members that have the Kent Fab installed on their 13' Whalers with the notched transom. Here is one I found in the personal page section.
