I have a 1974 mercury thunderbolt 50hp mounted on a 16'7" 1966 whaler hull. I have searched the internet some, looking for best 3 blade prop. I don't think I want or need a 4 blade. Recommendations on size, pitch, cup & SS or aluminium. This is in fresh water also. Thanks for any advise given, it all helps.

We need to know what the WOT range of your motor is, as well as its gear ratio and at what elevation the boat will be operated at.
