Please state the year and model of your boat and what type of RPS you have. There are several designs in wood and fiberglass. And Phil is correct, we need to know the year and size Outrage II model. Outrage 17 II Outrage 19 II Outrage 21 II etc., etc..... Always helps to have all the information so we know exactly what someone is talking about rather than trying to guess.

They actually made three models of the hull, which would be a nice addition and clarification in the Whaler Model listings. The Outrage I had the cooler base fixed Pilot Seat The Outrage II was original introduction of the RPS, first with aluminum legs. The Outrage III was a bare bones model with "lecturn" center console. Since there were no other Outrages during this time, there was no foot designator in the names.

Outrage 2 could be a typo for Outrage 22....... but leaving out the other 2.... I realize this member is new so we just have to find out "EXACTLY" what boat he is referring to without having to guess. I am not sure your guess is correct..... More info from the original poster is needed.

I do have a 17 foot outrage II model year 1996-1999. The reason that I know this is from the model pictures on the left side of the home page of this website, thank you. So, what I am asking for is if anyone knows about the rps with the aluminum (I think) legs. I have found much info about the wooden rps used in the outrage I, but few info about the Outrage II model. I am glad that so many people responded, and hope to hear from you all soon. Please let me know if there is any other info you may need to know.
