Many people use anywhere from a 50 to a 70 HP...

We have a Honda 4 stroke 50 hp unit that is just fine on our SuperSport 15. Would love a 70 horse unit but this one was a deal!

Max it out with a 70hp.

There's a fella on the boards that has a 135hp on his 15' BW....however his hull has been highly modified.....so I don't recommend following that route.

I would concentrate on the weight of the engine. Another way to say it is the number of pounds per horsepower. A light 60 hp engine will be better than a heavy 70.
