Well timing isn't everything. Just before Irene hit I was able to order (read: My wife took pity on me and let me..) new power. I went with a 2102 90 HP Evinrude E-TEC. Irene delayed the install (the bitch) so I didn't get it until yesterday afternoon. The thing is, a good friend of mine has a waterfront home here on Bass River. His boat was ripped off the dock, cleats and all, and went up river for a solo ride, and it ended up trashed in the marsh and full of water. He told me right after I picked up the boat, that I can have his dock for the rest of the year. I am thrilled with the boat so far although I have not been able to spend a lot of time with her yet. Picture posted. The boat is dirty, and my flags are not up, both because of the storm, but who cares? She is in the water, and I have at least 5 weeks left.
