Yamaha 60 4stroke has loose washer/spacer - what is it and how to fix?
Just bought this motor to put on my 15 Whaler. When it runs/starts there is a washer/spacer that is loose and bounces around down there. Not too familiar with these types of engines but it appears that on the crankshaft, just above the timing pulley there is a small/thin washer that has become lose. The motor runs fine but you can hear it clinking around in there while the pulley spins. The motor is a 2005 Yamaha 60 4 stroke. What is it, how did it become loose and how do I fix it?
