I have an early 90's 40 hp two stroke yamaha (exact year not yet know). I assume there has to be some sort of "lock" to prevent the engin from "lifting up" when going over bumps while trailering or shifting into reverse in the water. Any suggestions on a website or manual that could show where this may be located or how to use it?
