On vaca 350 mile from home. Boat running awesome, this afternoon the alarm horn in my control started beeping. Plenty of water from motor stream, and water pressure gauge os good. Motror running fine. Put it up for a bit, will run her again soon and see what's up.

If the motor is oil injected and if the alarm comes on when you switch the boat on jump out the wires on the oil tank and see if that is the problem If not consider mixing oil in gas and put a piece of tape over the alarm until you can get home.

Motor is oil injected, and does always chirp when key is turned to start it. Unsure what you mean by jumping the wires. I just went out and checked oil, not empty but about an inch left in tank. Maybe low oil alarm? I've never run it that low, so maybe that was it. Will see in the am. Btw, if you have never been to Smith Mt Lake, Va you need to come. This place is amazing! My first time ever boating on a large lake, AWESOME!

Ok sounds like your low oil alarm is letting you know to fill the tank. The chirp is to let you know the system is operating normally. If it goes into alarm when you switch it on its probably the low oil.

Thanks Bake for the help. I plan to run her in the am, will post results. I am betting low oil. This is most I've run this boat, I knew this motor liked fuel, but she loves oil too! I brought avgal, hope it lasts till Friday! Used a full tank of oil and almost 20 gal fuel in 2 days.

Well, the alarm was the low oil alarm, thank god. An he into today's tubing I hear something beating against the hull. No ropes dangling, then I see it, my transducer mount broke, dragging the transducer as it beats against the transom. Tie it off , go back in, now it starts up in demo mode as if no transducer is hooked up. Musta pulled wire loose inside. So, wewill see how good the extended warranty is!
